Bicycling and Motorcycling
Not far from the boundaries of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park lie miles of scenic secondary roads. They wind through wooded knobs, beside cool streams and meander through rolling farmlands with panoramic views of lofty mountain crests beyond. Swinging bridges and country stores, white-framed churches and old cemeteries add local interest to the routes and are particularly appropriate for use by bicyclists and motorcyclists.
