Summer on Broadway Food Vendor Application


Summer of Broadway | June 19-20, 2020 | 5–9 p.m. and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (You may stay later if you like) | Deadline for submission is March 18, 2020
SPACE IS LIMITED AND IS AVAILABLE ON A FIRST-COME BASIS.

You must collect and report Tennessee sales tax and pay the health inspection fee. The County Health Inspector will require all food vendors to have a valid health permit & abide by current health codes for preparing and serving food. You may find these rules online at Vendors are required to have a minimum $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) general liability policy and name the Blount Partnership as Additional Insured on the policy. Non-profits must provide a sales tax-exempt form.

Do you have a State of Tennessee business license? (If you do not have a business license, the Blount Partnership will work with the Blount County Clerk to secure.)

Booth Space Cost: *

Please leave the grounds as you found them. A clean up fee may be added if site is found to be in disrepair.

Each booth is required to have a 2A 10 BC fire extinguisher and comply with Fire Marshal Codes and Regulations

ELECTRICITY is limited to one 20 AMP breaker with a 110 outlet (THERE ARE NO 220’s available). GENERATORS are permitted if they are QUIET. IF you bring a generator that is a noise hazard you may be asked to leave without a refund. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR GENERATOR IS QUIET! You are responsible for your electrical needs. Bring your own extension cords, water hoses, etc.

If space required exceeds 20’x20’ you will be charged for 2 booths. If you want to provide seating and it exceeds 20’x20’ you will be charged for a non-electrical booth.

Hold Harmless Statement for Summer on Broadway applicants To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summer on Broadway participant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of Townsend and the Blount Partnership, its officers, agents, volunteers, employees, invitees, and lessees from and against all suits, claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including but not limited to attorneys' fees, court costs, or alternative dispute resolution costs arising out of, or related to Summer on Broadway participant's use of City facilities, buildings, equipment or infrastructure under this agreement involving an injury to a person or persons, whether bodily injury or other personal injury (including death), or involving an injury or damage to property (including loss of use or diminution in value), but only to the extent that such suits, claims, damages, losses or expenses are caused by the negligence or other wrongdoing of the Summer on Broadway participant, its officers, agents and volunteers, or anyone directly or indirectly employed or hired by the Summer on Broadway participant or anyone for whose acts as the Summer on Broadway participant may be liable, regardless of whether caused in part by the negligence or wrongdoing of the city and the Partnership and any of its agents or employees.
