This short loop allows you to experience the rich history of the valley as you you’ll pass through open fields, dense forest, and over creeks. Spot White-tailed deer, black bears, coyotes, turkeys and other wildlife while you are hiking.

Enjoy this short loop or pair it with other nearby trails including the five-mile roundtrip trail to Abrams Falls and longer hikes to Thunderhead Mountain and Rocky Top.

Driving to Cades Cove is easy. From Gatlinburg, guests will follow the Parkway to the national park. When you pass the Sugarlands Visitor Center on your right, make a right turn onto Little River Road. You will stay on this road roughly 25 miles before it dead-ends at the entrance to the Cades Cove Loop Road.
