b'DAY4CONTINUE your tour of Blount County with a drive through Quick Fix coffee, or settle in and read the paper in the Cafat Southland Books, a chance for quiet moments you didnt realize you needed. Rent a bike at Maryville Bike and Trail and explore the Greenway on wheels. While picking up your bike, take a picture of the Senderos mural on the side of the building.Jump on the Greenway behind the storeand head around Greenbelt Bicentennial Park. History buffs will want to stretch their legs at the Fort Craig Springs. Ride south to Sandy Springs Park and let the kids swing or slide.W e are so blessed to have an amazing Greenway that iseasily accessible to anyone. From Montvale Road to INSIDER tips Sandy Springs tennis courts, the walk almost makes one think they are in the Smokies. My favorite part of the Greenway is actually in Alcoa across from Springbrook gym. The short loop is a great place to see lots of vegetation (and squirrels). If I had to choose only one hiking trail, it would have to be Middle Prong beyond Tremont Environmental Center. Not only is it surrounded by history of the Little River Railroad where some of the rails are still evident, but the beauty and the sound of the river follow almost the whole trail.
